Your only decision is which session to book: the Senior Experience — the more elaborate session, with beautiful artwork for your home — or the Mini Session, a short and simple sitting. A 10-minute phone call with the parent to finalize details, learn more about your senior, talk about what's important for you, confirm the date and time, answer questions, and get ready for the big day.
The most important people to attend are the closest to your senior, the people who will help us celebrate them in the best way. All parents must attend, all decision-makers must attend. This is just as important as your senior's graduation - You wouldn't want to miss out.
We do — interest-free, on any collection. Your session fee is due when you book. Just ask your design consultant; no application, no credit check.
The Senior Experience is the session we are really known for. The mini session is good if you just want something simple. If you're still unsure, just call us. Ten minutes with a real person — we'll ask about your senior and what you want to display at home, and we'll help you choose before you pay for anything. No pressure, no pitch. The right time to book is now. We photograph seniors year-round. Spring and early summer of junior year is ideal — the property is at its best, yearbook deadlines are months away, and you get first choice of dates. If your school's yearbook deadline is already close, what are you waiting for?
Yes — all of it, at one address. Two acres in the foothills with a lake, a waterfall, a beach, flower fields, vintage cars, and antique doors collected from around the world, plus some indoor editorial sets, a private dressing room, and a snack bar. No permits, no driving between locations, no changing clothes in the back of the car. Watch the studio tour video above and you'll see the whole property in three minutes.
Digital files are always available — they're just not included in the session fee on its own. To receive digitals you'll choose a collection, or a mini package that includes them. Every file comes naturally retouched and ready to share, print, and enjoy.
Yes, you can! Please schedule a Senior Experience, and just let us know on your planning call so we can prepare for them. Pets are welcome on the property and we photograph them all the time — we're patient, we bring treats, and some of our favorite senior portraits have a dog in them.
We have both right here at the studio — but timing matters, so let's plan accordingly. The mountains behind the property photograph best in the afternoon light, and they appear in some of our backgrounds rather than all of them. The flower garden and flower fields look their best in the morning, and they bloom on site from late spring into fall. If one of those looks matters to you, tell us on your planning call and we'll schedule your session for the time of day that does it justice.
